Highway Trust
HIGHWAY TRUST, a registered charity for Christian outreach, owns THORNLEIGH. The roots of the Highway Trust began back in the 1930s when an organisation was created to arrange retreats for groups of church members to better know each other and advance their religion. The Highway Trust was then formed in 1964 to provide facilities for the advancement of the Christian religion, particularly through leisure.
Over the years the Highway Trust has operated in a number of different ways including as a holiday company ands as a mission organisation to the Middle East. Unfortunately, in the current financial times we have had to retrench and currently only the Thornleigh Hotel and Thornleigh Travel operations are running.
